"SECRET" - She's a late bloomer. Officially named "Separate Secret" she is a 17 year old, registered Quarter Horse 15.1hh sorrel mare.  Bred from top notch Quarter horse racing stock (her sire was Separate Cheques), she raced at Picov Downs in Ajax.  We won't say she was slow, but in her first race, it seems she finished well, but unfortunately it was with the horses in the next race, yes that's right, the race that followed the one she started in.  John acquired her with the intention of training her to be a  Western speed event (games) horse, but she really wasn't that interested. It became pretty obvious that what she really wanted to do was to be a trail horse, so she's been one of the best and certainly most comfortable  trail horses in the barn. Now, after ten years or so, she's finally figured out about the idea of being first, so she really likes to lead on the trails if there are other horses along for the ride. In spite of this, she is a very well trained, easily controlled, extremely comfortable and safe horse to ride.
