Not exactly your average trail horse to be sure. A seven year old black
appendix quarter horse mare, Daisy's started her very successful show career in
the hunter ring. After numerous wins at the local hunter shows, 2005 saw Daisy
enter the dressage show ring for the first time. This resulted in her winning
the 2005 & 2006 Blue Star Farm Dressage Training Level Division Championship and
went on in 2007 to win the Level 1 Championship. There is
no doubt that she's treated as a bit of a prima donna, but for a prima donna (or
is it doņa?) she's very nice to work with and around. She loves the forest and
in fact her training sessions are always followed by a nice quiet relaxing hack
in the Vivian forest. If you're a dressage or experienced rider you might want
to consider Daisy for part boarding, but we are a bit fussy as to whom we will
put on her, because as the old saying (or perhaps it's just our saying) goes,
every time you ride a horse, the horse learns something, good or bad.
